Playground:
We decided to use this location because it is a wide, open area so it will be the perfect place to shoot our chase scene. This location will be empty and this will help to make the victims feel alone and isolated.
This scene will be shot during the afternoon when it's dark because we will use the windows to our advantage by making the killer stand in the room and this will be clearly visible from the outside because the lights will be on. The killer will be watching the victims from here which will create fear and tension for the audience.
The Gym:
This location will also be used for one of our 'stalking' scenes. The killer will be watching the victims from the window.
The door to the gym will also be used to create a mirror effect. This is effective because we can take advantage of this by showing the killers reflection.
Staircase:
This low angle shot of the staircase is a good location to show the killers movement. It makes this location seem very intimidating.
The birds-eye view of the ground floor is a good shot to use when we film from the victims perspective.
This shot is effective because the audience can't see what's around the corner and this builds tension.
This shot makes the victim look trapped - there's no way to escape from the killer.
Third floor window:
This is a good location to use because we can film the killer watching the victim walk to school - the stalking begins here.
Third Floor:
The use of mirrors is often used in horror movies as it is an iconic feature that can be manipulated in many different ways.
This low angle shot will make the killer seem powerful and intimidating. This type of shot will not reveal the killers identity.
These shots will be used to track the killer without revealing who they are. Tracking shots can be used to create tension.
